The Facts:
Johnson admitted he's a big fan of Cam Newton, and said the Auburn QB would be a great draft pick for the Titans. More than anything, however, the RB would like to see his team keep the player Newton is often compared to — Vince Young. There's a chance it could happen, according to Johnson. "It is not etched in stone that Vince is going to be gone, so I am not sure what they are going to do at quarterback. A lot of things have changed in the last few months, so maybe Vince will be back?" he said Thursday.

"At first it was set in stone when (former HC Jeff) Fisher was here because he didn't want Vince back," Johnson explained. "It was an either-or situation then. Now that coach Fisher is gone, everything is up in the air. We'll just see what happens. ..." Asked specifically by Tennessean staffer Jim Wyatt, Johnson admitted no one with the Titans has told him there's a chance Young is coming back. Still, asked if his viewpoint might be a case of wishful thinking, Johnson said: "I don't think so. ..." In January the Titans announced plans to part ways with Young after five roller-coaster seasons. A few days later the team announced Fisher would return for his 17th season. Then the coach and team parted ways a few weeks later. Since Mike Munchak replaced Fisher, the Titans have repeatedly been asked if there's a chance Young will stay on the roster. Each time they said the plan is to move on without Young.
