Kenny Britt Charged With Third-Degree Felony; Court Date April 19

The Facts:
Following up on the previous item. .. Britt was arrested on three charges Tuesday after a car chase in his hometown of Bayonne, N.J., a Bayonne police department official said Tuesday night. Sgt. James Kuklinski said Britt was charged with eluding a police officer, lying to an officer hindering apprehension and obstructing governmental function following a stop. Reported by the Nashville Tennessean

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Eluding an officer is a third-degree felony; the other two charges are misdemeanors, Kuklinski said. Britt was taken to police headquarters and released from police custody Tuesday night. Britt has been assigned an April 19 court date in Hudson County (NJ) Superior Court. ... It’s the latest of several run-ins with the law for Britt, the Titans’ first-round pick in 2009, who totaled 42 catches for 775 yards and a team-best nine touchdowns last season. ... A Titans spokesman told the Tennessean on Wednesday the team was aware of the reports regarding Britt, but had no comment.
