As NFP's Brad Biggs suggests, we’re not talking about anything remarkable here in late March, but Stafford is working his way back from shoulder surgery and as Seifert notes he was not throwing when the NFL lockout began earlier this month. Stafford indicated he threw the ball at the University of Georgia, where he played in college. He’s on his own for his rehabilitation at this point, meaning he can’t be under the supervision of the Lions trainers or coaches. The Lions have maintained all along that Stafford will be ready before the start of training camp. At the owners’ meeting in New Orleans this week, HC Jim Schwartz expressed confidence that Stafford would be totally prepared.
