Jones confirmed Monday that he has received a restricted free agent tender from the organization. He also noted his hopes to play for the Super Bowl champions in the future. Jones, however, does have other career aspirations. “My main thing going through all this, do I want to be a starter in the National Football League?” Jones said.

The restricted free agent tender only comes into play if the league plays another year under the uncapped system of 2010.
