Drew Rosenhaus, the agent for Shockey told Joe Rose of WQAM in Miami that Shockey is "very interested" in joining the Dolphins. Shockey was released by the Saints on Wednesday.

During a Wednesday afternoon appearance on ESPN's NFL Live, Shockey said he was in the Miami area and that he was scheduled to take a physical with a team. He wouldn't identify the team. ... Stay tuned. It's by no means clear that the Dolphins have any interest in Shockey.
