The Facts:
Stafford missed 13 games last season with a pair of shoulder injuries, and is gaining a reputation around his own locker room as someone who cannot be counted on to be in the lineup on a consistent basis. That sentiment was expressed by Detroit LB Zack Follett in a Tuesday morning radio interview in Fresno, Calif. "Stafford, good guy," Follett said to ESPN Radio 1430 in Fresno. "He's a China doll right now."

Follett went on to explain, "Anytime he gets hit, he goes down. But the kid is -- hopefully, it's just patiently waiting for him, because the kid is an awesome talent. He has a tremendous arm. .. So hopefully, say a couple prayers, keep him healthy next year, and the Lions can do some damage in the NFC. ..." Stafford has had trouble staying on the field during his two-year NFL career, having missed more games (19) than games in which he has played (13). Still, as PFW notes, it's harsh of Follett to call his QB out like this, even though what he is saying might be true.
