(1/24 1:41 PT)

The Facts:
Following up on the ongoing story. ... Chicago Sun-Times staffer Sean Jensen has confirmed that Cutler suffered a has a Grade II MCL tear, which typically takes 3-4 weeks to heal. Reported by FootballDiehards.com

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Again, the copious grief Cutler is catching from other NFL players, the media and fans isn't really based on the actual injury; it's the perception that Cutler didn't "fight" to get back on the field. It's a perception fueled by Cutler's body language and reputation for petulance. Right or wrong, Cutler was convicted in the court of public opinion during a second half in which watched with what appeared to be less-than-intense interest in the on-field action after being characterized as "questionable" to return by the Bears. Team officials could have helped Cutler out greatly by declaring him out and sending him to the locker room. ... Whatever the case, it's safe to say this issue isn't going away any time soon. We'll follow up as needed.
