The Seahawks have hired former Vikings OC Darrell Bevell to replace Jeremy Bates, according to a source.

Bevell will sign the contract documents when he receives them Friday, NFL sources told ESPN's Ed Werder. ... Bevell was offered the job Wednesday and was able to work out a two-year deal with an additional option year. Bevell had been the Vikings offensive coordinator for the past five seasons. Bates was fired by Pete Carroll Monday after one season.
