(1/21 1:16 PT)

The Facts:
Stafford underwent surgery on his right shoulder this morning and will be sidelined for about four months. According to a league source, Dr. James Andrew performed the surgery, which included an AC joint repair and a shaving of the clavicle. According to the source, Dr. Andrews told Stafford that he could eventually get better without the surgery but that the procedure would be a better approach. Reported by Booth Newspapers
