Peterson was listed as questionable with knee and ankle injuries. And while he was able to hit the practice field late in the week -- and interim coach Leslie Frazier expressed optimism about having his star halfback on the field, he will not play. It's safe to assume the weather and field conditions were a factor. Toby Gerhart will handle the bulk of the rushing load with Peterson out.
