The Facts:
Favre just let the field after throwing warmup passes in advance of tonight's game against the Bears. According to ESPN's Ed Werder, Favre threw the ball well enough but it's still not clear if he will play tonight or not.

Favre, who was upgraded from out to questionable earlier today, is said to be discussing his status with interim coach Leslie Frazier and the team's medical staff. Favre told Werder that while he had no trouble throwing, he's not sure how he'll deal with taking a hit. Werder added that a pain-killing injection -- while tricky to do given the area that's injured -- is a possibility. ... Stay tuned.
