Kerry Collins is out indefinitely with a calf injury. ... Meanwhile, the move puts off a situation that could force owner Bud Adams forced to choose between QB over his coach. Young enters the final year of his contract, which carries a hefty eight-figure price tag. There are reports that Fisher, who is also under contract, is done with Young. Adams has suggested the two men need to get along. ... That seems unlikely. But Young's move to IR means it doesn't matter for now, either.
