Just 11 days after knee surgery, Alexander was back in uniform Monday. He didn't take part in practice, but he did conditioning drills on the side.

Alexander suffered cartilage damage during practice Oct. 29 and underwent the fifth surgery on his left knee that afternoon. Now, Alexander is itching to get back on the field. "The little procedure I had, it's probably not going to take long to come back from," he said. "I plan on playing in the next couple of weeks. ..." Don't be surprised if the Rams take a cautious approach; Alexander has torn his ACL three times.
