The Facts:
Following up on a previous item. HC Jim Schwartz told reporters today that Stafford had MRI on his injured right shoulder and the coach continued to maintin it's a different injury than the one that sidelined him for 5 games earlier this year. According to Detroit Free Press staffer Dave Birkett, Schwartz also said: "We're not talking about surgical options" right now.

Schwartz wouldn't say whether Stafford will visit Dr. James Andrews again, as he did with the first injury. As for a timetable? "Hopefully we can get some soreness out of him and we can get him back throwing," Schwartz said. "I dont know when that will be. ..." Also: Schwartz confirmed that PK "Jason Hanson will miss some time" and the Lions will workout some kickers. ... Stay tuned. More on both situations as developments warrant.
