Still No Timetable For Pierre Thomas
(10/24 6:26 PT)

The Facts:
Prior to kickoff, Jay Glazer of Fox Sports reported that HC Sean Payton has lost patience with Thomas, who hasn't played since hurting an ankle against Atlanta in Week 3. Thomas insisted that was news to him, and said his slow recovery is attributable solely to the injury. "I'm still hurt; my ankle still bothers me," Thomas said. "I'm taking it day by day." Reported by the New Orleans Times-Picayune

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
According to Times-Picayune staffer James Varney, there has been no indication Payton or the organization is dissatisfied with his effort. "I don't even know what to say about that," Thomas said. The prolonged rehab bothers him as much as anyone associated with the Saints, he said. "That's what's frustrating to me. I don't know when it's going to heal," he said. "I'm doing all I can, in that training room each and every day, getting treatment each and every day -- and this is hard for me just sitting back and watching. ..." Equally hard for Thomas owners -- even without reports that Payton isn't pleased.
