HC Andy Reid said Sunday after the Eagles' 35-32 victory over the Detroit Lions that Kolb will be the starter in next week's game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Reported by NFL.com

Kolb passed concussion tests given by the Eagles and an independent doctor and can practice this week, the Philadelphia Inquirer reported Sunday. Kolb sustained the concussion during last week's season-opening loss to the Packers, clearing the way for Michael Vick to play against the Lions, his first NFL start since 2006. Vick was 21-of-34 passing for 284 yards and two touchdowns against the Lions. He also ran for 37 yards on seven carries.
