HC Jeff Fisher benched Vince Young to start the fourth quarter after the quarterback’s third turnover of the game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. He was replaced by Kerry Collins.

Young was sacked and stripped of the ball after Chris Johnson missed a block, and the QBwas slammed awkwardly to the ground. Young walked off the field to the sideline to boos. Collins, who started the first six games last season before being benched for Young, went on the field for Tennessee’s first series of the fourth quarter with the Titans trailing 16-3 to loud cheers from the crowd. ... It remains to be seen how permanent this move will be, but the fact Collins brought the team back to within eight points (19-11) and was driving for more as the final whistle blew could be a factor.
