The Facts:
Dixon tore the ACL in his left knee during his final year at Oregon. And Dixon injured the same knee again on Sunday at Tennessee. It's unclear whether Dixon will return. He was examined on the sidelines and he left the playing area on a cart.

Dixon has been replaced by Charlie Batch, the only other QB currently on the roster after the Steelers released Byron Leftwich on Saturday in a temporary move to cover other areas of need. As PFT's Mike Florio suggests, the price tag for re-signing Leftwich "may have just gone up a little bit. Or a lot."
