Witten finished with five catches for 51 yards and was noticeably upset on the sidelines when the doctors determined he could not return. A player has to be symptom free, pass a series of neurological tests and pass examinations by team doctors and an independent physician in order to be able to return. ... If Witten cannot play next week at Houston, then the Cowboys would be down to one healthy tight end (Martellus Bennett ) and would have to make a roster move. Tight ends Martin Rucker and Scott Chandler are on the practice squad.
