After coming on in relief of Matt Moore in each of the first two games of the season, Clausen is the Carolina Panthers' starting QB. HC John Fox said today that Clausen will start, Darin Gantt of the Charlotte Observer reports.

As PFT's Michael David Smith notes, Clausen is entering the starting lineup more quickly than the Panthers expected him to when they selected him in the second round of this year's draft, but Moore hasn't played nearly as well as they expected him to when they anointed him as their starter this offseason.
