Following up on the ongoing story. ... Kolb did not "feel great" on Monday as he recovers from a concussion. Kolb did not pass the first test administered by team doctors on Monday and was sent home afterwards. It's unlikely he will play on Sunday.

Now the Eagles must follow the NFL-imposed guidelines on players with concussion. Kolb will get concussion tests at 24 hours, three days and five days after the injury until he passes. When he does pass the Eagles' test, they will be visit Dr. William Welch, an independent evaluator who will perform a neruological exam. ... Again, that means Friday would be the earliest Kolb could be cleared. ... Meanwhile, outside team headquarters, there is a QB controversy blooming. Inside the complex, Kolb is clearly the Eagles' choice over Michael Vick. "That's now what's happening. ... Kevin Kolb is the No. 1 QB," HC Andy Reid said. Still, Vick looks like the Week 2 starter.
