Ronnie Brown Still Sore But Pleased With His Recovery
(5/23 9:29 PT)

The Facts:
Following up on an ongoing story. ... Brown was a pleasant surprise during last week's organized team activity sessions in that he participated at all. No, he isn't 100 percent. And Brown added he sometimes still has soreness in his surgically-repaired foot. But the healing process is going well. "It's good," Brown said. "The last couple of days, I've been out there, and I've been in the off-season program, so I'm steadily making progress. If I continue to make this kind of progress, it will be pretty good for the season." Reported by the Miami Herald

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Brown, who had Lisfranc surgery to his right foot last year, doesn't rule out being completely healthy by the time training camp begins in late July. "Definitely not," he said. "I've been getting better on a weekly and daily basis. I've come a long way. In the off-season program, I started running. And how long has it been, eight, nine weeks into the offseason, and now we've started the OTAs, and I'm out here. There are positives. And I look forward to making progress every time we have something as a team, I'm trying to do something. I'm optimistic. ..." Optimism is good. Verification is better. We'll be watching for more as training camp draws near.
