Following up on a developing story. ... Just after we published a story revealing that Marshall underwent hip surgery, Jeff Darlington of the Miami Herald added a surprising and significant development. Marshall didn't have a clean-up surgery on the hip he had surgically repaired last year, as previously reported. He had his other hip worked on.

This surgery is being called minor, but as PFT's Gregg Rosenthal suggests, surgeries on different hips in consecutive years is a concern. Adding to the concern is the fact that multiple Dolphins reporters and the Denver Post were given information that Marshall just had a follow up, "routine" procedure done on the same hip that he hurt last year. Turns out that wasn't the case and this story gets a little more interesting. ... Stay tuned.
