The Facts:
If there was any doubt that McNabb was the Eagles' starting QB for next season -- and there has been plenty -- it was placated once again by the only person that can actually speak on such matters. Although HC Andy Reid was not asked directly about McNabb's future during yesterday's news conference to announce Brian Westbrook's release, he alluded to the QB's return when he was asked about filling the RB's leadership void on offense. "Well, Donovan is obviously here," Reid said.

While the both the Eagles and McNabb have repeatedly insisted the signal caller will remain with the team this year, questions about his future persist. And as Philly.com's Jeff McLane notes, the Eagles have heard from teams, not only for McNabb but for their other two quarterbacks -- Kevin Kolb and Michael Vick. "I think it's like anything in the league -- if you have an abundance at a position people are looking for, obviously people are going to come calling," GM Howie Roseman said. "So I think that's what happens. ..." In other words, look for the questions about McNabb to continue no matter what Reid and the Eagles say.
