The Facts:
HC Jim Caldwell told Adam Schein and Rich Gannon of Sirius NFL Radio on Monday that, as reported, Freeney has a third-degree ligament sprain in his ankle. "[H]e has a third degree sprain and he's questionable at this point," Caldwell said. "So he's working extremely hard at trying to get it back in shape. He is down in Miami. He is certainly getting treatment and things of that nature."

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
At this point, Caldwell seems to expect Freeney to be ready for Sunday's Super Bowl. Indeed, as PFT's Mike Florio notes that Freeney is a quick healer because he's willing to do whatever the training staff wants him to do when it comes to treatment, a process that requires at times around-the-clock annoyance. ... Still, we'll continue to monitor his progress and report further on a daily basis through kickoff.
