The Facts:
Longtime Star-Tribune columnist Sid Hartman is convinced Favre will come back for another year because the owners will make it so attractive financially that he won't be able to turn them down. Hartman notes that Favre's closest friend on the team, K Ryan Longwell, is convinced Favre had so much fun this past season -- not only being with a winning team, but loving the people in the locker room -- there is a good chance he will come back.

Hartman further suggested that if Favre doesn't return, the Vikings will make a strong effort to make a trade with the Eagles for Donovan McNabb -- despite the Eagles' stated intention of keeping McNabb (and McNabb's stated desire to remain in Philadelphia). If Favre and McNabb are not available, Hartman expects the Vikings to come up with a veteran QB who will compete with Tarvaris Jackson and Sage Rosenfels. ... So, FavreWatch 2010 continues.
