Bryant had every reason to think he would cash in as an unrestricted free agent this spring — but that was before a lingering knee problem and erratic QB play contributed to a nondescript 2009 season. After gaining 1,248 yards on 83 catches in 2008, Bryant’s productivity plunged. He finished with 39 catches for 600 yards, hardly the kind of numbers that will make him a coveted prospect. It remains to be seen if Bryant will take the paycut necessary to remain a Buccaneer or if he'll prefer to take his chances on the open market. ... Stay tuned.
