According to ESPN insider Adam Schefter, Cardinals are not expecting Boldin to play, though the team has not fully abandoned hopes that he can.

Regardless of what his official designation is later today, Schefter believes it's "doubtful" Boldin will be able to return from the sprained ankle and knee suffered in the regular-season closer and that sidelined him in last week's win over Green Bay. Steve Breaston and Early Doucet will move up in as needed.
