Barber missed practice Wednesday, as expected, because of his sore left knee. HC Wade Phillips is still hopeful his leading rusher will play Sunday in Minnesota.

As if this being a second-round playoff game isn’t motivation enough, Barber also is from Minnesota and has never played there in the pros. Phillips said Barber has been upset to have been held out of two preseason games there. ... While it all involved seem to believe Barber will be ready by game time, the presence of Felix Jones and Tashard Choice give the Cowboys viable options if Barber isn't at full speed come game time.
