According to SI.com's Peter King, it's official: Jack Del Rio will remain head coach of the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Del Rio met this morning with Jaguars owner Wayne Weaver to hash out the team’s offseason plans while identifying areas of improvement for the upcoming season. It had been speculated that Del Rio’s job was in jeopardy, and the meeting with Weaver would decide the coach’s fate. Adding fuel to the speculation, the L.A. Daily News reported this morning that USC had sent Del Rio a contract to become the head coach and replace the departed Pete Carroll. Now, USC's coaching search will continue with yet another name scratched off the list and the Jaguars will continue on with Del Rio at the helm.
