As AZCardinals.com staffer Darren Urban noted this afternoon, even if Boldin suits up Saturday – and Urban is among those leaning toward him not – it won’t be as the normal Boldin. It’ll be a situation where he’d only play 30 or so plays, when the Cards are using multiple receiver sets. Given the previous pessimistic reporting, it seems unlikely the Cardinals will want to activate Boldin as a part-timer. Those interested, of course, can check back in the hour leading up to Saturday's kickoff for the official verdict.
