Following up on previous items. ... Fitzgerald suffered on Monday night a knee injury that sent shock waves through the organization. He was due to undergo an MRI today. Though it's currently not clear that the MRI showed no damage, Fitzgerald said recently on his Twitter page, "I'm sore but I'm straight."

That the injury isn't serious wouldn't be a huge shock. After all, Fitzgerald returned to last night game -- after a visit to the locker room for X-rays -- and didn't seem to be any worse for the wear playing the rest of the second half. ... So while we'll be waiting for a more official verdict, Fitzgerald's tweet is yet another good sign.
