The Patriots have declared WR Julian Edelman (QB3), RB Fred Taylor, CB Kyle Arrington, CB Shawn Springs, LB Junior Seau, G Rich Ohrnberger, DT Ron Brace and OT Sebastian Vollmer. The Saints will be without K Garrett Hartley, WR Lance Moore, RB Reggie Bush, CB Tracy Porter, CB Jabari Greer, FB Kyle Eckel, LB Jonathan Casillas and DT DeMario Pressley.

The Saints RB rotation will be limited to Pierre Thomas and Mike Bell with Bush out. ... Sammy Morris returns to the Pats' backfield although his role is unclear. Also, if Edelman takes the field before the fourth quarter, the first and second QBs can not play. So it would appear Isaiah Stanback and Sam Aiken will round out the receiving corps behind Randy Moss and Wes Welker tonight.
