NFL Network's Brian Baldinger, reporting live from the new Cowboys Stadium, just advised "Total Access" viewers that Barber will be inactive for tonight's game against the Panthers.

It comes as no surprise. With Barber sidelined by his sore thigh, we'll be seeing a heavy dose of Felix Jones and Tashard Choice tonight. While Jones is the more tantalizing prospect, with Choice still in the lineup, the Cowboys don't have to put the full load on the former first-round pick. Still, you have to believe we'll get an opportunity to really see what he can handle, and what he can do with an increased role. ... Stay tuned. We will have the full inactive list for both teams when released.
