According to the team's official web site, HC Steve Spagnuolo announced that Bulger has bruised rotator cuff on right shoulder. He will be day to day and isn't ruled out for this week.

It would appear the Rams are going to take a cautious approach here. Bulger could throw as early as Wednesday but will not be rushed. And frankly, after Kyle Boller seemed to hit stride shortly after replacing Bulger Sunday, the Rams shouldn't be in any hurry. ... Also: X-rays on Donnie Avery's ribs came back negative. He should be OK per Spagnuolo
