The Facts:
Pennington underwent an MRI on his right shoulder Monday morning, and he is currently awaiting word of whether he suffered any type of tear that could sideline him for an extended period of time.

Pennington definitely dislocated the shoulder during the third quarter of the game, a source told the Herald, and the team's training staff had to pop it back into place immediately after it happened. The greater fear is whether Pennington tore something. Twice in his career, the veteran has endured surgeries on the shoulder, which also was the result of a torn rotator cuff. If Pennington is out for only this week's game, the belief is he could still return to the starting lineup. But the longer he misses, the more prone Miami will be to move forward with the transition to Chad Henne for the long term.
