Or they aren't willing to say so publicly. ... But Pennington, who has a history of shoulder surgeries, said he was in a “state of shock.” He added:
“I’m truly disappointed because I know what type of work I’ve put in and what type of work our team has put in,” he said. ... We'll have more on this one in coming days, but those comments don't bode well. Neither does an NBC report suggesting Pennington is doubtful for Week 4. Chad Henne will move in as the starter if needed.
