According to a report from SN team correspondent Jean-Jacques Taylor in the Dallas Morning News, owner/GM Jerry Jones was doubtful about having Barber available for tonight's game against the Panthers.

Barber has been battling a tough quadriceps injury all week, and hours away from kickoff against the Panthers on Monday night, his chances of playing seem slim. That being the case, the Cowboys will rely on two second-year backs, Felix Jones and Tashard Choice, to share the load tonight. Both have proved to be capable producers over the past two seasons, and with Dallas' offensive line overworking an undersized, injury-hampered Panthers front, Jones and Choice should have pretty good success in a committee that features both great speed and underrated power.
