NBC 5's Newy Scruggs has reported that Barber, who went down in the fourth quarter of Sunday night's loss to the Giants, will miss one to two weeks with a quadriceps injury.

This report comes in the wake of an ESPN reports suggesting Barber would be 50-50 for next Monday night's game against the Panthers. And while the Monday night kickoff offers additional time for treatment and recovery, Scruggs does have close ties to the Cowboys. So assuming Barber is down, Tashard Choice and Felix Jones should see increased carries. Both have looked promising thus far, making timely contributions behind Barber, who has been the team's horse on offense.
