Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
It's been quiet since Burress was indicted on Aug. 3 on two counts of criminal possession of a weapon, a felony, and one count of reckless endangerment in the second degree, a misdemeanor. His lawyer predicts the trial won't take place before next spring. Unless Burress plea bargains and goes to jail in the next few weeks, he is available to be signed by any NFL team for the 2009 season. But his chances of playing don't sound good.
