The Facts:
Wells made his Cardinals training camp debut Saturday, only to leave practice early in a cart as a precaution after suffering an ankle injury. Cardinals general manager Rod Graves saw the play and said it appeared Wells "got rolled up on" during a pileup. The team suspected a minor injury.

While Wells is hoping to compete with Tim Hightower for the team’s starting job -- he said earlier in the day is plan is to become “the number one guy” -- an injury would be a setback, especially considering Hightower is already the starter.
