Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
The Bucs report to camp Friday morning, but Freeman headed to team headquarters Thursday night to sign the contract around midnight. He wanted to sign it so he can be available for everything the team is doing on Friday. The 17th pick in the 2009 draft, Freeman's progress in off-season workouts was encouraging enough for his position coach, Greg Olson, to suggest the newcomer could make a push at the No. 1 spot. It's safe to say Freeman has been paying attention.
