The Facts:
HC Rex Ryan said Kellen Clemens will go into camp as the No. 1 QB on the depth chart, with rookie Mark Sanchez No. 2. But Ryan said it remains an "open competition." He said Clemens will get most of the first-team reps in the early going.

In the early going as in... today? Seriously, all indications are Ryan wants to roll with Sanchez as quickly as possible. It'll be interesting to see if Clemens, given the first shot, can do anything to change the perception that the job is all but officially the rookie's to lose. ... Stay tuned.
