today's big news. ... Favre told NFL Network’s Steve Mariucci that he is going to continue to throw and workout.

While Favre told HC Brad Childress on Tuesday that he will remain retired and will not be joining the Vikings, he clearly remains a bit conflicted. In fact, Mariucci said that he can tell that Favre is torn about his decision and said to Favre, “I wonder how you’re going to feel about his retirement decision in the morning.” At which point, Favre responded, “I do, too. ...” Good grief. Needless to say, we'll continue to follow along -- perhaps forever.
