The Facts:
Mason says he's retired, but many people close to the situation doubt he'll stay that way. On Wednesday, HC Jim Harbaugh confirmed that he plans to speak or meet with Mason "real soon," presumably in an effort to change Mason's mind.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Harbaugh went on suggest, "It will be interesting to see where he's at with everything. I know he's gone through a lot with Steve McNair's situation over the past few weeks. ..." Meanwhile, the Ravens are looking at receivers, but Harbaugh cautions they are "always looking at every available player. ..." As NBC and PFT's Gregg Rosenthal noted, their first option will probably be to make sure any way they can that Mason really does want to retire. It probably wouldn't hurt if Harbaugh could approach Mason with some good news on the contract front. ... Whatever the case, we'll continue to follow up as needed.
