The Facts:
Washington, saddled with the fourth-year of a slotted rookie deal that will pay him only $535,000 this season, has decided to end his boycott of offseason workouts, according to agent Alvin Keels. “Leon Washington has decided to return to off-season workouts while we continue to work on a contract extension for him,” Keels said at his Twitter page. “A move of good faith.”

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Per the Jets’ official Twitter feed, both Washington and Thomas Jones are participating in practice on Monday morning. As PFT's Mike Florio suggested, it’s a pair of victories for the Jets, who have no ability to punish players who stay away from voluntary drills. For the players, boycotting non-mandatory offseason practices is the only leverage that can be exerted in order to get a new contract.
