According to the report, the two sides have agreed to pause negotiating an extension until a later date and instead decided to focus on reworking the two years remaining on his current deal. McNabb is scheduled to earn $9.2 million this season and $10 million in 2010. The veteran signal caller has made no secret of his desire for an extension that would put to rest rest the annual discussion of whether he'll remain an Eagle or not.
