The Facts:
Under the headline "Ugly day for Jets' pretty boy quarterback," New York Daily News reporter Ohm Youngmisuk noted Sanchez mostly worked with the second team in his first practice as a pro. Sanchez threw an interception at the goal line during a 7-on-7 drill, and OC Brian Schottenheimer lit into Sanchez for failing to locate an open receiver in the end zone on another play.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
"Still got the training wheels on!" Youngmisuk reported the defensive players were hollering. Newark Star-Ledger beat writer Dave Hutchinson reported Sanchez completed one of his nine passes in 11-on-11 drills. "It was a good day -- for the defense," Sanchez said. "They got after it. It was good, though. For a rookie to play against a defense like this, you can't ask for anything better. ..." Hard to argue his point. We'll also suggest that a lousy first practice by no means changes the fact that HC Rex Ryan is clearly eager to hand the starting job over to the youngster as quickly as possible.
