Derrick Mason (shoulder surgery) won’t participate in this weekend's mini-camp as a precautionary measure. Others who could be limited are: Willis McGahee, who recently had a procedure to clean out his knee; Todd Heap (back) and Mark Clayton (unknown).

As noted in a previous item, Mason claims his surgically-repaired shoulder is fully healed. But the team's desire to go easy makes sense. The same goes for McGahee and Heap. That will, of course, change if their respective conditions continue to be issues as training camp approaches.
