Following up on Favre-Watch 2009. ... The NFL Network has reporters stationed at the Hattiesburg, Miss., airport and so far there has been no sign of HC Brad Childress. There is a very good reason for this. Childress did not fly in owner Zygi Wilf’s plane directly to Hattiesburg and likely isn’t going to that airport at all.

While the the exact location of the meeting hasn't been confirmed, Star-Tribune staffer Judd Zulgad reports that Childress took a commercial flight today. Same as he did when he connected through Atlanta en route to visiting Percy Harvin in Jacksonville, Fla., a few weeks back. ... As Zulgad went on to suggest, that was probably a smart move, given the amount of media attention that’s going to be focused on this situation. Meanwhile, despite copious and credible reporting to the contrary, Favre's agent, James "Bus" Cook continued to deny a meeting between Favre and Childress is scheduled. ... Awesome.
